AYYAPPA SARANAM HI FRIENDS I NEED TO SHARE A SMALL INCIDENT WHAT I GOT TODAY WE PLANNED TO GO SABARIMALA TOMORROW WE ARE TOTAL 6 PEOPLES WE BOOKED THE TICKET 2 MONTHS BACK BUT STILL NOT CONFIMED SO WE PLAN TO BOOK THE TAKAL TICKET.TODAY MORING WE PLANNED TO GO TO BOOK THE TICKET.But i slept in morning and my friend went and wait there from 3.amitslf and he keep on trying to call me but it in silent mode i am not aware at 6.30am i waked up and got shocked.suddenly i went to railway booking counter but there is very long Q.my friend can take only 4 tickets as per new system.2 more tickets required.Peoples are not allowing to join inbetwwen the q.Prayed god i do know what happen a guy called and he allowed to stand in the q.with in 10 min we got the ticket.swamyie saranam ayyappaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa……..

Ram Charan’s 7th Ayyappa Deeksha

Ram Charan went to Sabarimala for releiving from Ayyappa Deeksha. He took the blessings of Ayyappa and then after Mala Viramana, he spoke at length sharing his past experiences in Deeksha time. Ramcharan said “This is my seventh time of taking Ayyappa Deeksha. What I learnt from Deeksha is Money and Luxury are not important in lie. One should be obedient and sincere to God. That is the way to find peace and a peace of mind. Ayyappa Deeksha will offer us a peaceful mind. I can still remember my Yatra in the peaceful weather. My advise for youth and businessmen is to follow this deeksha that brings peace of mind and also give us balance and strength to achive our Goals. Lord Ayyappa and Deeksha saved me from accident during Goa shooting schedule of Racha.”

Jayaram’s Experience

I am a regular pilgrim to sabarimala for the past 30 years. My grandfather and father used to walk for 15 days. I made pilgrimage to sabarimala as ‘kanni ayyappan’ (first visit to sabarimala) when I was in my 8th standard. My father and uncle had told me so many divine stories related to sabarimala. I have the strange experience of running to reach sannidhanam by hearing stories about lord ayyappa at pamba. It was really a great experience when I reached sannidhanam (sanctum sanctorum). The loud chants break the ear-piercing silence of the forests. Everyone is equal in front of lord ayyappa, chanting ‘swamiye saranam ayyappa’ in the same tone. I couldn’t go for pilgrimage during the years of death of my father and elder brother. Every month I go to sabarimala for darshan without any break. I told the divine stories about lord ayyappa, which I heard from my father and uncle to my son kalidasan. He became kanni ayyappan when he was studying in 7th standard.

Experience at Sabarimala pilgrim center

Tomorrow, 17th Nov 2010 is the first day of malayalam month VRISCHIKAM. The sanctum sanctorum of Sabarimala temple is opened today and the new Melsanthi is assigned the holy duties for this season. The rituals commence all over the South India tomorrow.

The next 45 days and even more, in few cases, ie till Jan 15, 2011,the atmosphere in entire State and even neighbouring States is agog with Saranam Vili and holy dips in the early morning. The gents keep away from non vegetarian foods, hot drinks and maintain distance with their spouces and murmur Swami name more frequently. This is something UNIQUE and there is no comparison elsewhere.

Every year, the crowd at Sabarimala is increasing manifold and it becomes difficult for the managing committees to control the crowd. Pilgrims coming from far off places in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are forced to wait for 6 to 8 hours during the peak days to have the Swami Darsan.

I am visiting this Pilgrim Centre since 1988 and I have had my numerous experiences in my life due to the Swami darsan. I was leading a bachelor life in Bangalore as my wife – a central tovt employee – was transferred to Kerala.
I joined a team from Bangalore to have the Swami Darsan in 1988 and just at the front of sanctum sanctorum, before the diety, I prayed from the core of my heart and sought Swami’s blessings for either a suitable placement in Kerala for me or for a transfer in my employment to its Cochin office. This was in December 88. By Jan 89, papers moved by some unknown force in Management and swapping the positions with another chap, a vacancy cropped in Cochin. I did face lot of difficulties in managing to grab the opportunity. I had to learn Commerce as the vacancy was of Accounts Officer whereas I was an Administrative Officer in Bangalore. Candle lights were lit at nights to learn as I had to compete with Post Graduates in Commerce who were also aspirants. With swamy’s blessings – ONLY DUE TO HIM – I could join my family in 89.. Since then, it has been my practice every year to observe the rituals and reach before the Swami with my two sons. Still I am a devotee.

Lot of experiences of this nature would be thrown open through these columns in days to come.
